Our all  class rooms are 21st Century classrooms equipped with interactive smart boards or LEDs. Here teachers are the facilitators of students learning and creators of productive classroom environment which nurture development of multiple skills and competencies. The teachers create a learning ambience that allows each child to grow intellectually with conceptual understanding and higher order thinking skills. Besides smart boards every class room has one traditional white board also The smart boards provide ways to show students everything which can be presented on a computer’s desktop (education software, web sites and others) in an actual working setting. Teachers record their instructions and post the material for review by students at a later time through these interactive boards which is a big help to the students who are absent from school.

A COMPOSITE SCIENCE lab has been established for classes 1st to 7th where students can perform experiments related to various topics of  their General Science /EVS. 

  

 

 

KKCS has one well-equipped computer Lab for Grade-Nursery to Grade-VII where our enthusiastic young students who will be budding Computer / IT professionals tomorrow, are trained through practical sessions on latest software. Students will be familiar with the software packages used in modern business applications such as Word-Processing, Spreadsheets, Databases and Power Point Presentations.

There is Campus-wide broadband e-connectivity with Wi-Fi for anywhere-anytime computer learning. All students are able to supervise internet access.

  

 

 

The school aims at keeping the students abreast with the advancement of technology and globalization. Hence, the school’s endeavour is to provide enriching learning experiences that fill the young learners’ minds with curiosity, creativity and desire to discover.

The Robotics Lab in KKCS is well equipped with latest electronic gadgets required for designing and implementing Robotic System. It comprises a variety of processors, motors, controllers and sensors. The Lab provides experiential learning through hands-on and fun filled activities. Integrated with the academic structure, the Lab provides a platform to children where they collaborate, analyse and create. In their journey of discovery, the students experience many Eureka moments!

  

 

 

We all know that sometimes mathematics generate challenges and problems for an average student. At KKCS, the Math lab is a place where students like this subject because they do mathematical activities to learn the concepts just like playing with toys. The place engages every student to discover mathematics in his own way. Furthermore, specially created MATH GARDEN widens the experimental base and establishes ground work to resolve mathematical puzzles present in the young minds. Here young students are exposed to experience and visualise various mathematical principles and fundamentals to imprint them permanently in their minds.

  

 

 

A language laboratory is a dedicated space for language learning where students access audio or audio-visual materials. They allow a teacher to listen to and manage student audio, which is delivered to individual students through headsets or in isolated sound booths KKCS has also developed a language lab where all learning activities related to Indian and foreign languages are carried out. Students are given ample opportunity to practise and perform in languages of their choices.

  

 

 

To perform musical and dance activities and to create interest for dance and music among students , a well-equipped music and dance lab with school drum, school band and other latest musical instruments, high quality sound system is there. 

  

 

 

Art and craft is a subject that not only engages the child’s imagination in a constructive way but also gives a great impetus to a healthy mental growth and development. The school has an art and craft Lab to enhance the creativity among students. 

 

 

 

We believe that the habit of reading develops young minds. Reading adds knowledge, enhances creative writing ability and improves verbal and written communication. The School has a well stocked library  which has a vast collection of more than 5000 books, digital sources, resources and services on a wide range of topics. The main aim is to inculcate reading habits in children, giving a free rein to their imagination and minds in comfortable and conducive ambience. 

  

First aid department with full time staff nurse and weekly round of a qualified doctor is well stocked to meet immediate medical help in case of emergency. Two medical check ups of all students from Nursery to Grade -VIII in each session is a regular phenomenon of KKCS.

  

 

 

School has a safe and sound transport fleet of its own ( all in very excellent condition) and the routes cover most part of the Malout city & and about 20 villages within a radius of 20 kms all around school. 

  

 

 

School has a theatre to screen educational , entertainment documentaries / presentations on big screen . The theatre can accommodate 80 students at a time .  

 

The school has full time female counsellor to take care of the emotional needs of the children. The counsellor is a ready "helpline" for children affected by lack of motivation, withdrawal symptoms , examination phobia. Career counselling is also available to take care of special cases which are not tackled at the level of school counsellor.
